TIAA Bank Field

On a hot, steamy day in late April 2021 I had the pleasure of flying TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville, Florida with the Emesent Hovermap. My task was to generate a colorized point cloud of the facility as quickly and safely as possible. This was a proof of concept of sorts put together by Haskell and Aerodyne Measure. I jumped at the chance. How often do you get to fly / scan an NFL stadium?

Hamzah Shanbari and Andy Justicia were my VOs (virtual observers). After 7 scans / flights taking about 3.5 hours we were done. The data turned out very well. To scan a facility of this size in any other way would have taken days if not weeks.

My love affair with the Emesent Hovermap continues.
