Toured Glen Canyon Dam last week in preparation for pending project. We will begin the “capture” phase of this facility, both inside and out – and on the upstream side using terrestrial laser scanning, multi beam side scan SONAR, and airborne photogrammetry. One of the dam’s turbines (Seen here) was being serviced. Normally there is an incredible amount of water passing through this space at high velocity and pressure that spins the turbine and the generator above. We were most impressed!
